Onward and Upward!

I was reading one of those little books from TAN publishers last night on the subject of the Holy Name. (Ya gotta love those little books. Short and practical, and shorter than my attention span.) One of the points that it made was that every time the name of Jesus is uttered, there is an indulgence for souls in Purgatory.
Now imagine if everyone made a practice of piously repeating the Holy Name, since we're supposed to "pray constantly". If we were really conscientious, those souls would just *fly* out of there with everyone praying for them! And then they would pray for us in turn so we'd get out quickly, too!
That would be nifty!
(I picture this as a sort of reverse-gear shooting star effect. Also, for a long time, I pictured the Assumption as akin to those magic air tube cylinder thingies that they use at Costco. I'm funny that way.)
