I’ve been through too much in recent years. I lost my grandfather three years ago, my aunt two years ago, and in January I lost my cat Kiba, who I’d lived with for fifteen years, and a very dear friend of mine who had his whole life ahead of him and with whom I’d made so many plans.

I didn’t think I could feel as empty as I do right now. Many things that used to come easily to me now seem so difficult; every time, my thoughts turn to all the people I’ve lost and loved, and I feel as if my chest is emptying and tightening every time something reminds me of them.

I’ve talked to someone, but it didn’t help much. I used to think that broken-heart syndrome didn’t exist, but I think that’s exactly what I’ve been feeling for far too long now. My heart beats fast, even though my heart rate is normal; my breathing is ragged, but my lungs are fine; every emotional pain spills over into my body, and I don’t think I have any more tears left to cry

I needed to write this down somewhere and let it all out; I hope this might help me in some way

Just for change, we went to Ciro Mazzella. I spent practically all my childhood there, I've seen this place change year after year, but what always remains the same is only one thing: his sandwich!

Going to dinner here at the Irish pub is always a nice discovery, this time the angus crostone with potatoes was really good and we also enjoyed a nice cone of fries at the end!

Oh, and of course ice cream (although I would have preferred to have a slushie, but Oparé is on vacation)

Today my sister and I accompanied my friend to catch the train and stopped at a new restaurant in the area, Yoshi Ramen. And guess what? Everything was delicious!

After that we went to the Leopold Bar for something sweet. (I would have avoided the cream cloud, though, because it was not very good).

And we ended the evening at our favorite place in Pozzuoli! A day out was just what we needed!

Next week, who knows!

After finally overcoming the covid, we can enjoy a quiet evening to celebrate New Year's Eve 2022!

This year we also have guests: Nicola, my sister's boyfriend, and Paola, a friend of mine from Genoa, Italy. It's been a long time since we had guests, and we can finally spend New Year's Eve with each other!

And everything was good!

This Christmas was a bit special. We all took covid (in the end even I did despite trying to be careful, but with four infected in the family and three not wearing masks, I ended up taking it too), but fortunately we only got a little cough. We still had a bit of a strange Christmas because my grandfather is not well mentally so it was stressful

Nevertheless, we have been trying to do things normally as usual

There are days when you need to escape from the monotony of life, and this day was one of them. We really needed uiscre so we went for a sandwich at Ciro Mazzella's, the best in Bacoli!

and after eating this very good sandwich, we finally went for a granita and a chocolate crepe!

Always was so good, can't wait for the next night!

After a lot of time, my sister and I finally got to make tacos again!
This time we used some ground veal, some saladat and avocado sauce (and also some yogurt sauce) and they were really good!

This time were even better!

If there is one thing I really like besides pizza, it is salmon farfalle. Of course I like them without cream (I hate cream in any form!), but I could eat pounds and pounds of them because I love salmon so much

Oh, yes, there are also fried and breaded shrimp in panko, better than I expected!

God of War Ragnarok didn't disappoint my expectations. I waited a long time for this game and was assailed by doubts and worries about the fate of Kratos and Atreus from the very beginning, afraid of what awaited them and the prophecy that would be fulfilled.

It has been a journey full of challenges and self-discovery for Atreus and Kratos, a coming together and pulling apart, quarreling and making peace, putting each other's good first while keeping quiet about the truth thinking they are doing the right thing.
A constant effort to walk a path, not to fall back into the mistakes of the past, a digging within oneself to be better and "open the heart" to pain and suffering, feeling empathy and emotions hitherto kept dormant and controlled; a journey to discover forgiveness, to discover new worlds and new friends, moments experienced in solitude to clear one's head and master anger until a greater purpose is achieved.

I have so many feelings to consider, starting with the fact that Faye had seen the fate of Kratos and Atreus but hid the prophecy so that they would both follow their own path according to their choices. Seeing Kratos and Atreus unite even more during this journey, the trust they both felt little by little toward each other, and the fact that Kratos understood that Atreus has a mission and his own path to follow, make one realize how much he has changed and how much he loves his son, that child who became a man before his eyes and for whom he tried to be better.

He himself was destined to be the "champion" of the nine kingdoms, a god of a foreign land who brought peace, fighting wars for a more just end. And even if his son left, if Loki left.... Atreus will remain in his heart and always be a part of his life.
Even though Atreus is far away now, even though he left to follow the destiny he himself decided to forge, Kratos knows that he will be able to make it and that one day, sooner or later, they will meet again. And I, too, will wait for that day.

Okay, yes, my sister made gyoza with chicken mince and vegetables and they turned out really good. They are fat and puffy and full of food and I love them, I ate them all

She also prepared udon, but I must admit that unfortunately I didn't ate them ahah she prepared them beautifully, but it is a food I don't like

After a long time, me, my sister and a friend of ours came back here to the Vigna to celebrate and have a nice slice of meat along with some dumplings! Of course, we could not miss the Italian-style fried food as well...

...and a great ice-cream too!
