35 icons; Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2

I really want to make Endgame icons right now, but for a while before I stopped making icons I did make MCU icons starting with the first movie Iron Man. Since I left off on Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 I thought that would be the best place to pick back up. I'm going to continue going in order, so next up is Spider-Man: Homecoming.

I honestly want to just skip to Endgame because that is my most favorite MCU movie… I watched it 6 times in theaters, I would have watched it more but work and other stuff happened. How many times did everyone else watch it? Did you guys enjoy it?

I totally haven't forgotten about Livejournal nor this community. Yet RL has become so much different for me. At the beginning of this year I got a new job, one that had/has me working at 3AM and that just took over everything. Now I'm working in the early morning or in the afternoon, which takes up a lot of my time and doesn't leave enough time to work on stuff for this community.

I'm not sure if anyone still goes on Livejournal and checks this place. I've been feeling like making icons again and with all the MCU movies, especially with Endgame it's made me want to make icons again so I might get back into it... even if not a lot of people actually check this place a lot.

I'm horrible.

Ok, I think it's safe to say that I'm horrible with keeping up with this icon making thing.

I'm sorry.

I really want to continue to make icons and graphics and post here and I will try my best to keep that up in the new year. It's so weird to think 2018 is almost ending and 2019 is almost upon us. Though I am very happy for 2018 to end since it wasn't the best year for me at all. I want it to end and to start fresh in the new year. A lot of things have happened to me IRL and I just want to start clean in a sense… hopefully I am able to do that and get things set down the right path.

I'm going to start working on icons right now and keep working on them randomly when I have a chance. I'm currently unemployed, definitely trying to change that but it's a bit difficult I'm finding which is just making me depressed… but anyways. I'm going to try and work on icons randomly, of things that I find interesting (most likely Marvel movies) and when I have enough I shall post them. Hopefully I'll have enough for one post before the end of the year. :)

25 icons; Doctor Strange

Doctor Strange. I enjoyed this movie but compared to the other movies in the Marvel Cinematic Universe it's not really my favorite. I do like the character a lot and I can't wait to see what happens in the next Avengers movie as well as his next standalone movie, if he gets one.

I'm currently going through screencaps for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 and for Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, so those will be coming up in the near future. I also have found screencaps for the recent Captain Marvel trailer so most likely I'll be working on that soon. Just a heads up for the Guardian's of the Galaxy Vol. 2 icons, there will be a lot of Baby Groot icons and I have no shame in that. He is one of my favorites, Groot in general is so there will be a lot of icons of Baby Groot. He's just so cute!

40 icons; Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone

Hai! So, these aren't technically new icons. I made these at the end of 2017 but of course never got around to posting them. These were going to be the start of the new movie series I was going to work after the Marvel movies. I'm still going to work on Harry Potter icons but I will start all over again seeing as how I'm not a big fan of what I did with these icons. I do like some aspects but I feel like I can do better. Looking at them with 'fresh' eyes makes me want to do something different.

I am rewatching the Harry Potter movies. AMC has been showing 2 Harry Potter movies each Sunday in theaters and I have been going since I want to see them once again on the big screen. It has a different feeling than watching them at home on TV. It's also so nice to see a younger generation fall in love with the movies and be able to experience it in theaters.

So in addition to the Harry Potter icons I'll try to work on Marvel icons as well. I took a break in making Marvel icons after Captain America: Civil War so I think I'll continue with Doctor Strange onwards. But we'll see, I've also rewatched some Marvel movies so I might do random Marvel icons here and there just to gain inspirations.

Hello, I'm not sure how many people actually use LiveJournal anymore. I know it's been a while since I made and posted graphics here, it's been because of a lot of different things. Mainly just not feeling it anymore, not feeling inspired. But recently I've felt like making icons/graphics and I'd like to post here again. At this point I'm not really caring too much if people would actually see it and use it, I mean it'll be a plus, but I'm just thinking of doing it for myself and just having fun.

First and foremost I want to say that I'm so sorry for seemingly ignoring this place for the past 3 months. A lot of real life started to happen and then the holidays happened and it was just getting very hectic. Since I work in retail I haven't really had time to sit down and rest for the past couple of months on top of all that the past two weeks I've been sick.

In 2018 I hope to keep going with this community. I really don't want to forget about it and not do anything with it because I really do enjoy making and posting here. While I'm not sure how much I'll be posting in 2018 I do hope that it's a consistent amount here and there with not many big gaps.

I want to say Happy New Year to anyone who still watches this place! I hope 2018 is good to you.

Sometimes I just feel like making things that I like, not caring if others like it, just making it because I like it and have fun making them. I've been wanting to make icons from Big Bang and other k-pop music videos for a while but never had time to make them… since I'm kind of in a creative rut I thought this would be the best time. Just making icons for fun and for myself. :D

I am working on other things at the same time while doing this. I'm hoping to make Harry Potter icons soon, when I'll actually have time to make and post them though is up in the air. I'm getting more and more hours at work and seeing as the holiday season is just around the corner (where did the time go?!) and I work in retail time to make icons will be few and far between. But I'll try to make stuff here and there and hopefully the icons will just pill up and I'll have a good amount to post. :P

I'm currently figuring out what series I'd like to start on next, in regards to TVs and movies. I have ideas of shows and movies but once I look at screencaps I'm just going blank. Like, no inspiration is coming to me.

Here's hoping that I'll be getting inspiration soon because I really would like to make more icons. I am focusing on the interest meme icons as well but the inspiration is a problem there as well.

YAY? The last batch for Captain America: Civil War. I think I'm going to take a little break from MCU movies for a little bit - move on to making icons from TV shows and random movies. Not sure if I'll move onto another movie series or just random movies - but seeing as most movies now are series you never know. I have been wanting to make icons from Harry Potter so we'll see. It really matters with how I feel.

I still haven't seen Spider-Man: Homecoming, I'm hoping to see it this weekend. Just waiting for the theater I usually go to to post times/tickets. Has anyone seen it yet? Is it good?

Once again some graphics I made and posted first over at chrisevansdaily. Last week I focused on the movie Before We Go. I made headers/banners and some wallpapers, which I'll post in a separate post.

I'm currently working on the rest of the Captain America: Civil War icons. I have a feeling the next batch might be the last, but I'm not sure just yet. Hopefully it is because I would like to move on to another movie. Not sure if I'll go directly into making icons for Doctor Strange or something else, what would you like to see?

So, I think it's safe to say that I've gotten my inspiration back to make Captain America: Civil War icons! YAY!

I really want to rewatch this movie again but I honestly have no time. I'm recently getting into various TV shows thanks to Netflix and Hulu and whatnot and my queue of things to watch is just growing and growing… sadly my spare time is getting less and less.

Anyways! I hope that you like these icons. More icons from Captain America: Civil War and finishing up season 1 of Once Upon a Time, then after that moving on to another TV show. Any suggestions at TV shows you'd like me to icon? If it's something I haven't watched yet I can add it to my list of things to watch. ;)

Ah Power Rangers. My favorite TV show while I was growing up, I'm so glad that they have all the seasons on Netflix because I've been able to watch it from the beginning and even though it's super dated and cheesy I still love it. It just bring me back to a happier time.

When they announced they were going to make Power Rangers movie I instantly cringed because reboot/remakes in my mind rarely go well. But I had hope… then I saw promo images of zords and Goldar and then cringed once again. Though I still wanted to watch it because it's my childhood and I wanted to see it. I went in watching the movie with not much hope, just looking forward to watching an entertaining movie - nothing more. But I was pleasantly surprised and since I'm hearing that they're going to be doing more movies, I can't wait to see what they do next.

Anyways! Icons from the movie's trailer and not the full movie, since I'm still working on Civil War icons and I don't need to icon two full movies at the same time.

I'll be honest and say that Wonder Woman is the first movie of the DC movie universe that I've watched. I never watched Man of Steel or even Suicide Squad. I loved Wonder Woman so much that I watched it twice. If you haven't watched it yet you definitely should, it's awesome!

I really wanted to have these made BEFORE the movie came out here in the states, yet many things IRL happened and I didn't have enough time. Oops! I'm working on the other trailer for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 as well as the rest of the Captain America: Civil War icons… and I did not forget about the interest meme icons.

Also, just letting everyone know, because I've been getting some comments about it, I'm currently NOT taking requests. ANYWAYS! Here's more Captain America: Civil War icons. I can't believe Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is almost out. It comes out on the 5th in the US and a friend and I are going to see it on the 4th on my birthday. YAY! I'm so happy. I can't wait! Oh, I can already sense that Captain America: Civil War is going to be a long one for me to icon. But I know I will have fun with it! This is seriously one of my favorite MCU movies (though I feel like I say that with every new MCU movie). I seriously can't wait for Guardians 2 and Spider-Man: Homecoming later on. There's a lot of movies I'm looking forward to and I was looking forward to (Logan). I hope I have time to actually watch movies this year.

Working on interest meme as well, I shall (hopefully) post them soon.
