It is with sincere regret that we announce the cancellation of the 1UpState this year, scheduled for October 4th, 2025. This was a difficult decision made after careful consideration, and we extend our deepest apologies for any inconvenience or disappointment this may cause. While we are unable to proceed this year, we are channeling all of our efforts and enthusiasm into planning for the future. We are incredibly optimistic and fully committed to bringing this event to our community in 2026, and we look forward to creating an even more memorable experience in the years to come. We thank you for your understanding and continued support, and we will be sure to share updates as soon as they are available. Additional communications will go out to current speakers, exhibitors, and supporting organizations, and full refunds will be issued to all ticket sales and exhibitor fees.

Event Goals
Creative Economy
Shining a spotlight on the our vibrant creative and technical community by soliciting exhibitors and vendors on Game Development and/or Gaming Culture. It takes more than just writing code to bring a game to life, and we intend to promote all the creative efforts required to do so.
Workforce Development
Building bridges and creating opportunities for potential future game developers at all levels, from high school clubs, to college curricula, to adult hobbyists, whether they decide to pursue a career in one of the Tech Valley’s globally recognized studios or strike their own path.
REDUCE BARRIER TO ENTRY
Current events serve one of two purposes: Events for consumers of the gaming culture and events that serve as professional networking and development. Exhibitors and presentation selections will be curated to serve those who are looking to transition their interest into a career.
