I Can Be That gives Indy high schoolers and opportunity youth hands-on career exploration through real-world experiences, digital skills, and mentorship that helps them see and step into future pathways.
Shaping Future Pathways
- Target audience: High school students from local schools, connecting them with working professionals.
- Purpose: To bridge the gap between education and industry by providing mentorship and exposure to potential career paths.
- Focus areas: Industries that students can picture in their futures—from advanced manufacturing and life sciences to healthcare and careers for women in sports—those that fuel Indiana’s economy.
- Goal: To show students that they can have careers in these advanced fields by seeing and interacting with people who work in them.
