He's a twentieth century boy.

Friday was surprisingly fun. It was like the kind of party you see in stupid movies like American Pie. Hah. Even though I didn't come home that night my parents didn't seem to mind the next morning. They just told me to call them next time I'm going to be out all night. They're starting trust me. They're actually starting to think of me as an adult. It's nice.

I think it's time for a top ten list.

1. Kids in the Hall.
2. Dave Foley wearing a Smiths shirt on Kids in the Hall.
3. Microwave popcorn.
4. Elvis Costello and the Attractions.
5. VH1's Behind the Music.
6. My brilliant faux British accent.
7. Smiling.
8. Blur.
9. Showing decency towards others for once.
10. Back to school shopping.

New England is a classy place to live, isn't it?

I stole this quiz from Allison's journal. You answer eight pages worth of questions and they tell you which places would be right for you to live in. My top three:

Providence, Rhode Island
New Haven, Connecticut
Boston, Massachusetts

That seems about right.

I'm going to go out and socialize with people I don't like now. If I drink enough I probably wont notice them. Ta ta.

my new thing is not elaborating on anything. okay? good.

i'm jealous of a boy i've never met. how grossly infantile is that?
summer is so boring and uncomfortable.
i'm going to marry a girl who's first name begins with an F.
i need money.
i wish i could talk to my friends without making them feel inferior. that's going to sound like a conceited statement, but it's not. i'm just sick.

that will be all.

I took a "Belief System Selector Test." I love these stupid online tests. Here are my results:

1. Unitarian Universalism (100%)
2. Secular Humanism (96%)
3. Theravada Buddhism (82%)
4. Atheists and Agnostics (75%)
5. Liberal Quakers (74%)
6. Neo-Pagan (66%)
7. Mainline to Liberal Christian Protestants (62%)
8. New Age (56%)
9. Reform Judaism (48%)
10. Taoism (48%)
11. Mahayana Buddhism (42%)
12. New Thought (41%)
13. Scientology (41%)
14. Sikhism (34%)
15. Christian Science (Church of Christ, Scientist) (32%)
16. Orthodox Quaker (20%)
17. Bah' Faith (18%)
18. Hinduism (15%)
19. Jainism (15%)
20. Mainline to Conservative Christian/Protestant (12%)
21. Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (Mormons) (9%)
22. Seventh Day Adventist (6%)
23. Orthodox Judaism (2%)
24. Eastern Orthodox (0%)
25. Islam (0%)
26. Jehovah's Witness (0%)
27. Roman Catholic (0%)

I was baptised Catholic. Hah! Basically what this says is that I don't believe in a God or an afterlife, that I don't believe in living my ilfe according to a church, that I believe in equal rights for gays and women, and that I'm pro-choice. On a related note, I believe Kurt Vonnegut Jr. is the president of the American Humanist Association. He's a rather nifty guy.

In other news, Summer is killing me. I'm going to make myself dinner. I'll be back to complain later.
