  • COO asks the CEO: “What happens if we invest in our people and they leave?” The CEO replies: “What happens if we don’t invest in them and they’re the ones managing our properties?” For property management company owners, that question hits differently. Your teams are managing communities, residents, vendors, maintenance issues, risk, emergencies, budgets, and millions of dollars in real estate. Investing in their education is not just a nice thing to do. It is part of protecting the asset. Early bird registration is now open for APTSPalooza 2026: The Experience Era. Right now, tickets are $199 per person. On September 2, pricing increases. You save about 33% by registering early, but the bigger return is what your team brings back. Better conversations. New vendor relationships. New Operational ideas. That can be worth far more than the price of admission. So maybe the question is not whether you can afford to send your team. Maybe the question is: What happens if you don’t? Register here: https://lnkd.in/eGd4JVqx

Raise a glass, APTSPalooza registration is open. And this one is worth the trip. APTSPalooza 2026 is back October 14 and 15th at The Desmond in Albany. The theme this year: The Experience Era: What Modern Residents Expect and Multifamily Must Deliver Resident expectations have changed. They expect faster communication. Better follow-through. Safer communities. More transparency. Less friction when something goes wrong. And that is exactly why I’m excited to be part of this year’s agenda. I’ll be speaking on October 15 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM with a micro session called: That’s NOT in my job description! This session is built around a real problem maintenance teams face every day. They are often the first call when something goes wrong. But not every issue belongs in-house. We’ll talk about when a maintenance request becomes something bigger, riskier, or more specialized. This session is for maintenance professionals. But property managers, regional managers, and owners should be in the room too. Because protecting the team starts with leadership knowing when not to ask them to handle it alone. So Raise a Glass to APTS of NY for putting forward another great event. And yes, this photo is a throwback to last year’s APTSPalooza happy hour. Registration is open here: https://lnkd.in/gphsrzxN See you in Albany.

  • The resident experience has never mattered more. Today's residents expect responsive communication, reliable service, seamless technology, and a community that feels worth calling home. Every interaction shapes their experience, and when teams are not equipped to meet those expectations, the impact can be seen in resident retention, online reviews, employee turnover, and overall property performance. APTSPalooza is more than a day out of the office. It is a focused investment in the people who shape the resident experience every day. Join us for practical education, valuable networking, and connections with industry-leading vendors. You will leave with ideas you can put into action to strengthen your team, enhance the resident experience, and support your property's success. 📅 Register today and invest in your team's success: https://lnkd.in/eGd4JVqx

  • Last week at Apartmentalize, our team had the opportunity to connect with property management professionals from across the country, exchange ideas, and bring back valuable insights to strengthen our industry here in New York. From conversations around operational efficiency and resident experience to emerging technologies, sustainability, and workforce development, one thing was clear: our industry continues to evolve, and collaboration is what drives progress. Events like this remind us how important it is to stay connected, keep learning, and share best practices that help our communities thrive. A big thank you to everyone who stopped by, shared their experiences, and invested in building stronger multifamily communities. We’re excited to bring these ideas home and continue the conversation with our members across New York. What was your biggest takeaway from Apartmentalize this year? #Apartmentalize #MultifamilyHousing #PropertyManagement #ApartmentsOfNY #IndustryLeadership

  • APTS of New York is proud to be in New Orleans today, marching in the Parade with a Purpose in support of Move For Hunger. One of the best parts of Apartmentalize is seeing our industry come together, not just to learn and network, but to give back. Food insecurity affects millions of families across the country, and organizations like Move For Hunger are doing the important work of connecting unused food during moves with local food banks and communities in need. Today, our APTS members had the opportunity to walk alongside industry peers from across the country in support of that mission. A little rain wasn’t going to stop us. Thank you to everyone who showed up, marched, and represented New York so well. And thank you to Move For Hunger and Valet Living for organizing an event that reminds us all that this industry can make a real impact far beyond the properties we serve. Proud to be part of it. #Apartmentalize2026 #ParadeWithAPurpose #MoveForHunger #APTSNY #Multifamily #GivingBack
