Review of Rimmel Products in the Frosty VoxBox.

So, as you all know that a couple of months ago I got the Frosty voxbox from Influenster. It contained many fabulous products and perhaps some which immediately became my new favorites.

Yes, this box introduced me to Rimmel, and its very affordable and awesome line of products.

The first product I am gonna talk about is the Rimmel Eye Makeup Remover

First of all, its non oily which is great because my skin is oily as it is and I have acne prone skin , so any amount of oil cause blemishes.  It is super gentle and does remove makeup, I use eye makeup heavily and it managed to remove quite a bit , I would say about 97% off without any burning or irritation. However, I haven’t used it with waterproof makeup , so I can’t comment on how effective it is in removing that. Other than that I would give it 8/10.

 

The other Rimmel product in the box was  RIMMEL SCANDAL EYES WATERPROOF KOHL KAJAL EYELINER(BLACK).

Its very easy to use, creamy and comes in many different colors. However, if got to sample the black one which is my favorite color anyway. I line my eyes using liquid liner usually, but I switched and used this instead and it results were very similar. I , of course, used primer so that it wouldn’t smudge and was very pleased with the results. I did minimally re-touch once, not after that. I would give it 9/10. I took off a point because I think the cap should come with an inbuilt sharpener, its so much more efficient like that instead of having to look for one every time.

Overall, I really recommend trying these products and other great products from Rimmel.

Celestial Seasonings Taste Test : Infuenster Frosty Vox Box

As part of the #FrostyVoxBox I recently received from Influenster, I was sent a sample of Celestial Seasonings Candy Cane Lane Green Tea to test.

I made it how I normally make my tea, boiled a mug of water, put the tea bag, added some sugar, and immediately I smelled peppermint. I put it in the microwave for about 1.30 minutes and entire room smelled christmasy. I had never tasted peppermint tea and was a bit hesitant to take the first sip. However, my mouth was watering and I decided to surprise my taste buds and boy o boy what a pleasant surprise.

 

This tea feels like drinking Christmas and I would really recommend it for everyone who enjoys a little flavor in their tea.

Boots No7 Protect & Perfect Serum Review

So, this is another product that I received in my Frosty voxbox from Influenster.

This is the sample size I received and I got to try for 2 nights after much squeezing. I wish I could have more to test. I am in my mid 20’s and a big fan of “preventative” care, so I always use some anti-aging serum before going to bed every night. I tried it and it moisturising but not in a greasy way.

I could feel my skin smoother, it didn’t cause any irritations and its hypoallergenic. I didnt break out but I cant say what prolonged use could do to my skin because I didn’t have enough to try for a week or so.

Overall, I was happy and would buy it if I found it somewhere in a store. My score for it: 8/10

For all the people fighting aging, I would recommend giving it a try.

So, all these items make up my wonderful Frosty Voxbox!

I was very excited about the Rimmel Makeup Remover because I was  almost out of my current one, so I put this one to use immediately. Also, the kajal from Rimmel is a color that I generally wear(blackest black) but the one thing that I dont like about pencils is that fact that you have to sharpen them, which leaves behind mess.

The NYC lipstick(Sugar Plum) looks divine( Even though I don’t wear lipstick, I am lip gloss girl). It might be a little dark for my skin tone but on the other hand I also think it might compliment my skin tone perfectly.

The fruit vines are absolutely delish, I can say that for sure because I am munching on them as I am writing this( nom ,,nom,,nom!)

The EcoTools hairbrush is the biggest and the most expensive item in the box, I love EcoTools brand, this hairbrush looks good but I am not so sure about the bristles, they are hard and I am used to a wide toothed comb but I’ll have to try it out more before I come to an absolute conclusion.

Celestial seasonings green tea is something I look forward to try because I have heard good things about it.

The Boots No7 serum is also something that is very useful for me because I always use preventative anti aging products, although the samples are really tiny that I can just probably use them once.

The McCormick spice(thyme) is something that is really new to me, its a spice that I have never used before so I am kinda excited to see what kind of recipes can I use it in.
