VesperNet is a project based on the idea behind ucanet.
An alternative DNS service detached from the mainstream internet.

VesperNet is committed to user privacy and security. We do not log user activity, and the only personal details we retain are the domain-registration contacts you explicitly provide. Our DNS and Proxy service is designed to protect anonymity and provide a safe browsing experience.

Not only do we not log user activity, we are also 100% free from third-party tracking and advertisements. Resources that are better used to enhance user experience and provide better services.

We believe in a free and open internet, and we are dedicated to providing a service that respects user rights and freedoms. However, as a service provider, freedom under our network is subject to our terms of service and acceptable use policy.
We expect our users to adhere to these guidelines to maintain a safe and respectful environment for everyone.

While Vesper started out as a fork of ucanet, Vesper has since been re-written from the ground up, retaining none of the code from the ucanet project in the process.

Vesper does things differently, for starters it does unfortunately not support adding records for direct access to NeoCities or ProtoWeb web sites.
