Background: Originally from Leeds/Manchester, UK, Skez began his career in a art/rock band called The Litany before transitioning to DJing around 2000. Style: His sets are described as “a “place to loose yourself" incorporating throwback vibes, bass heavy grooves, and tribal rhythms. Career Highlights: * Skez fell headlong into the BC Canada underground in 2007 and soon became an integral part of the scene. * Skez held residency at beach clubs in Cayman 2014-2017, which significantly boosted his profile. * Skez a Burningman veteran has dropped sets on the Treehouse Art car, Valhalla Fest, Otherworld and Footwork Entertainment (supporting DJ Sneak/Hatiras/Flipside/Defunk). * Skez has run a monthly mix show on Soundcloud since 2015. Label: Skez began producing in 2022 and has released 18 original tracks under his own “Drop Dead Red” label! Brand: Currently part of the Jellyfish Lounge collective, Skez continues push the limits of music and creativity in BC and beyond.
