Reflections From the Recent Past

Whether it’s for a freelance assignment, family or friends, or for fun, I am blessed to capture moments in time. Thank you, Lord!

It’s been far too long …

Here are a few photos from way back in the summer, with the exception of the two pals in red which is from 2019.

Of all the means of expression, photography is the only one that fixes a precise moment in time. – Henri Cartier-Bresson

Fun Two Months

April and May were a busy two months with continued work through the Catholic Diocese of Kalamazoo and Second Wave Media’s On the Ground project. Whether it was helping to chronicle Holy Week in Kalamazoo, tell stories in Battle Creek, or taking photos of a good friend’s kitties, this professional part of my life has been a great joy.

Thank you, Lord.

Did I forget to mention the Cardinal game on Matt’s birthday?

The March of a Lion

There went March 2022, a lion outside, but not in. Work assignments for Second Wave’s On the Ground project and the Catholic Diocese of Kalamazoo continued to be blessings. Much time was spent on prayer for our sisters and brothers in Ukraine, Russia, and Ethiopia.

One day of golf on St. Patrick’s Day, that was it.

Lord, help us and continue to be with us.

Since you are my rock and my fortress, for the sake of your name lead and guide me. – from Psalm. 31
