Are those designing and implementing this technology allies or adversaries to humanity? The reality we face threatens our very existence. Fighting for their country,

Fighting for your security

on the battlefield, they died

Many have lost their sanity

Many have lost a limb

Some suffer from PTSD

Reliving the nightmares that they have seen

Some have lost their families

because they are not the same

And will never be.

Many roam the streets

With no place to call home

No place to sleep, no food to eat.

Many stay high, to block out the atrocities

that they have seen, and to numb the

unbearable pain that they feel.

Those heroes have fought in vain

Upon returning home, no love, no respect

Is been shown

No empathy

Thank you for your service,

that’s all they have received

Drowning in darkness,

In their mind, It’s a constant battlefield.

They are all broken, beyond repair

Many end up, committing suicide

No one cares,

it’s just another fallen soldier
