How I Made My First Million: My Journey From Classroom to Incorporation
Speaker: Ryan Walden
Affiliation: Rosenblatt AI
Thursday, April 9, 2026 - 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm (doors open at 11:45 am) - Student Center West, Room 468

My computer science journey has been anything but normal. The twists and turns included switching majors, graduating just as COVID struck, and getting fired from Expedia for insubordination. But in the end, I found that attending Georgia State set me up for long-term success both as a machine learning engineer and a company founder. I hope you will learn something from my unorthodox career that may encourage you to think outside the box in these adverse times for new CS grads.

NOTE: Seating is limited for this event, so you must RSVP in PIN in order to be admitted.
