Plot: She’s a tennis superstar on the rise. He’s the bad boy champ who broke her heart. When they meet on the court, their competition is hot—but their chemistry is even hotter.

All of Penny Harrison’s hard work is finally paying off. At 21 years old, she’s a tennis icon in-the-making, with massive sponsorship deals and legendary status on the horizon, if she can just nail the upcoming Grand Slam in Paris. Until then, there’s no room for mistakes.

When she returns to the prestigious Outer Banks Tennis Club to train, though, she comes face to face with the biggest mistake she ever made: Alex Russell. With piercing blue eyes and irresistible charm, the bad boy tennis star is the only guy who ever broke Penny’s heart.

To keep her head in the game—and her mind off Alex—Penny leans on two of the club’s other rising stars. Jasmine Randazzo and Indiana Gaffney are both balancing exploding careers with their own off-the-court romances, and their drama might be enough to keep Penny distracted.

But as days tick down to Paris, Penny seems to always find herself across the court from Alex. She knows that winning it all means laser focus…so why can’t Penny stay away from the one guy who ruins everything?

Perfect for fans of Chloe Walsh and Bal Khabra, this juicy and action-filled tennis rom com is a match you won’t want to look away from.

I can’t believe 2025 is almost over. It’s been such an incredible year. I’ll be traveling tomorrow. I’m doing a little family trip, so that’s exciting. Anyway, I feel my last day of Blogmas, I’ve been ending it with the Bookish Naughty or Nice Tag. So I figured I’d keep that tradition going. Let’s dive in!

Pages: 352 pages
Release Date: January 13th 2026

Plot: Everyone at Chantilly’s Bar noticed out-of-towner Camille Bayliss. Red lips, designer heels, sipping a Negroni. But that woman wasn’t Camille Bayliss. It was Aubrey Price.

Camille Bayliss appears to have the picture-perfect life; she’s married to hotshot lawyer Ben and is the daughter of a wealthy Louisiana family. Only nothing is as it seems: Camille believes Ben has been hiding dirty secrets for years, but she can’t find proof because he tracks her every move.

Aubrey Price has been haunted by the terrible night that changed her life a decade ago, and she’s convinced Benjamin Bayliss knows something about it. Living in a house full of criminals, Aubrey understands there’s more than one way to get to the truth—and she may have found the best way in.

Aubrey and Camille hatch a plan. It sounds simple: For twelve hours, Aubrey will take Camille’s place. Camille will spy on Ben, and the two women will get the answers they desperately seek.

Except the next morning, Ben is found murdered. Both women need an airtight alibi, but only one of them has it. And one false step is all it takes for everything to come undone.

Why I Need This Book: I’m such a huge fan of Ashley Elston. Her books are always so good. She recently started doing adult novels. First Lie Wins was sooo good. Since that’s the case, I just can’t wait to pick this book up! I’m so excited for it!

Hey guys! Merry Christmas Eve Eve. It’s time for another Top Ten Tuesday hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. The theme for this week is Books I Hope Santa Brings/Bookish Wishes. Blogmas 2025 Day 20: Disappointing Reads of 2025

Hey guys, I’m here to share with you my disappointing reads of 2025. I have to say there were a bit more than I ended up remembering. I think this is also one of the reasons I was in a big slump this year. It really discourages me when I constantly read things I don’t enjoy. It’s a shame because some of these are from authors I’ve read before. I usually like to give authors a couple of chances before basically saying I won’t pick up their books again. I do hope next year to read more and read more books I enjoyed. Anyway, let’s dive in!

Blogmas 2025 Day 19: Netgalley Arcs I Need to Read #10

Hey guys! I’m excited to share with you the Netgalley Arcs I Need to Read. I currently have 35 books I need to reveiw…that’s a lot. So I’m going to basically share my 2025 arcs & any 2026 arcs I have. I’m currently waiting for a couple of holds to come in at the library but I’d like to try to lower this. I do see some of the books from my last post that I did about this had some read. So glad there were some that were read and reviewed. Here’s to hoping I lower this in 2026. (I say this every year, maybe one day it’ll be true.) Anyway, let’s dive in!

Blogmas 2025 Day 18: Books I DNF’d in 2025

Hey guys! Today I will be talking about the books I DNF’d in 2025. I have to say since I didn’t read a lot this year it’s small. Honestly one book was on my December TBR. Another one I picked up earlier this year and haven’t touched it in a while. I may go back to that one at some point. We shall see but thankful it’s a small amount. Anyway, let’s dive in to see what I DNF’d.

Blogmas 2025 Day 17: Waiting On Wednesday – The Future Saints By Ashley Winstead

The Future Saints By Ashley Winstead

Genre: Romance, Fiction, Contemporary, Adult, Music, Adult Fiction, Grief, Literary Fiction, Suspense, Mental Health
Pages: 352 pages
Release Date: January 20t 2026
Publisher: Atria Books

Plot: This is a love story, but not the one you’re expecting.

When record executive Theo meets the Future Saints, they’re bombing at a dive bar in their hometown. Since the tragic death of their manager, the band has been in a downward spiral and Theo has been dispatched to coax a new—and successful—album out of them, or else let them go.

Immediately, Theo is struck by Hannah, the group’s impetuous lead singer, who’s gone off script by debuting a whole new sound, replacing their California pop with gut-wrenching rock. When this new music goes viral, striking an unexpected chord with fans, Theo puts his career on the line to give the Saints one last shot at success with a new tour, new record, and new start.

But Hannah’s grief has larger consequences for the group, and her increasingly destructive antics become a distraction as she and her sister Ginny—her lifelong partner in crime—undermine Theo at every turn. Hannah isn’t ready to move on or prepared for the fame she’s been chasing, and the weight of her problems jeopardize the band, her growing closeness with Theo, and, worst of all, her relationship with her sister—all while the world watches closely. The Future Saints’s big break is here—if only they can survive it.

Why I Need This Book: I’m a fan of Ashley Winstead. This book is being compared to Daisy Jones and the Six, so I’m invested. I did read a book this year that was compared to The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo. It really did not compare. I’m a little worried this might follow suit but I’m going to try to pick it up anyway.

Have you read Ashley Winstead? If so, what’s your favorite book by her? Will you be picking this book up when it comes out?
